   I am of the opinion that Batman is stupid and looks ugly. Amanita Muscaria however is a fine and delicate creature with a pure and noble soul. Alas! This is the century of Doom when violence and dirt takes over the world of beauty and harmony - when a brainless alpha male gets glory and fame for destroying innocent fungus-beings.

    Oh comon’ - equating lizardpeople with fungus-beings - that’s lame! The fact that I defend some cute minorities doesn’t make them reptoids! By the way - the fungi-beings are quite deadly unlike lizardpersons who are pacifists.

    ‘Tis not because of the gene-pool of this or that species, ’tis because of their oppressed status in this society lizardmen should join forces with the mushroom men (as well as the talking letters and perhaps, just perhaps, protocol droids, although their social exile might be justified).

    Oh, do I really have to repeat myself again and again? Lizardpersons are not oppressed! They are in the swamp. They like it there - there is a lot of mud - tasty and healthy. The same goes for fungus-beings - they are fine! Maybe they look a bit like LARPers but they certainly are not. Batman is the person you should try to rescue from the ball and chain of this socially constructed role of ultra-male. Maybe he would rather embroider than embowel. Patriarchy hurts men too!

    I could not disagree more. This is exactly the attitude that permits the exploitation of the poor creatures. The anti-lizardmen propaganda woven into the very fabric of this here (otherwise splendid) web-page, the skeptical comments, the blatantly violent imagery reinforcing the inferior roles of lizardmen and, in this case, mushroom men: how is this not oppression? Forget the mistakes of the past, join the Lizardmen Liberation Front today.
    (But, yes, the artificially engineered and socially enforced machismo should also be confronted.)
