I’m sure this pretty much depicts how Hollywood realizes their average big budget historic movie. Unless it is something that does not even apply for the status of historic accuracy (say comic movie “300″), the outcome usually is something like this. I encourage you to list in the commentaries the most atrocious historic movies to your mind.

Today I’ve taken the liberty to post a new comic out of line (in other words today instead of tomorrow), because newsflash has stricken the gaming world. The company behind the ever rotting corpse of all corpses - “Duke Nukem Forever” has ceased to exist. We had one webcomic devoted to “Duke Nukem Forever” and it would be a shame to waste it. So here it is - our tribute to the final death of the corpse that apparently is not going to be reanimated.

We didn’t like Phantom’s Menace much. Because the movie was silly, as it is very well exposed in the cute webcomic DarthsandDroids, in which the folly of this Star Wars movie is explained via the idea that it is a table-top RPG campaign. However here is our own take on this piece, which very well explains why Darth Maul looked the way he did.

Oh, and don’t even try to give me the excuse that he was of irodian origin. Let’s be mature here.

Who would be in his right mind and would not make a joke about the horrid legacy of Dune book series. Beware this is not going to be the last, because the author of this comic felt just as offended as Penny-Arcade authors and lots of other Dune fans.
